This photo session was unique and truly amazing. I traveled to the other side of the globe and met this wonderful couple who volunteered to help me expand my portfolio and take photos in the heart of the Caribbean, at Grand Cayman. This place is out of the ordinary, at least for me who lives in the cold and windy Sweden. The sea is nice and warm, the air is refreshingly humid, the weather is almost always sunny, the water is crystal clear and clean, it is pure perfection. Grand Cayman offers flora and fauna that is so different from what I am used to, even the moon is upside down. :D

 

But let's talk about the photo session itself. Chami and Kaushi were so relaxed, they really made my job easy. After giving them some instructions about what to do during the photo session, they could really be themselves and enjoy the process. I always try to find ways to calm the nerves if the couple feels uncomfortable in front of the camera. By giving them small tasks, they don't have to worry about the details and it gives them also the freedom to be their authentic selves. I just hope they enjoyed it as much as I did.
